Transfer Students and Online Programs
Transitions teach us about ourselves. In the School of Communication Studies, we see transitions in college as a good thing. If you’re thinking about changing your major, look no further – COMM is a place that you can call home.
The key is flexibility. In Communication Studies, students can:
- Customize the degree to fit your interests and goals
- Finish the bulk of the major coursework in three to four semesters
- Take classes either in-person or online
A degree in communication studies will give you skills and knowledge for a career in almost any field. Employers typically rank communication abilities as the most important skill they consider when hiring new graduates.
The option to complete the Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies fully online is perfect for working professionals or others who wish to earn their college degree who are location-bound.
Students who earned an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree from any community college in Ohio can seamlessly transfer credits toward their Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.
