The Â鶹ӰԺ Board of Trustees approved two new degree programs at its regular quarterly meeting held Wednesday, Dec. 15. The new majors – the Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology major within the Bachelor of Science degree and the Emerging Media and Technology major within the Master of Science degree – will help meet the high demand for these types of programs and provide opportunities for students to find careers in these growing fields.
The University Budget Office welcomes Mary Mustard to the department in the role of senior budget analyst effective May 1, 2021. Mary will be responsible for developing budget processes and forecast projections, processing budget revisions, submitting budget data to the Ohio Department of Higher Education, providing budget trainings and authoring financial reports for the university.
The University Budget Office welcomes Leigh Archibald to the department in the role of Director for Academic Budget Management, effective October 18, 2021. Leigh is responsible for providing oversight for fiscal and business operations for the Division of Academic Affairs and supporting the Office of the Provost.
The state of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Higher Education announced that Â鶹ӰԺ has been awarded Choose Ohio First grants totaling $3.5 million to support students in the critical fields of science (including health professions), technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The University Budget Office is happy to announce Carmen Roberts will become the Associate Director for Academic Budget Management. He will provide oversight for business functions, human resources processes and financial operations for the regional campuses. He previously held the role of senior budget analyst.
The University Budget Office welcomes Connie Simms to the department in the role of Budget Analyst II effective August 16, 2021. Connie is responsible for analyzing financial and statistical data, preparing financial projections, summarizing budget inquiries, reviewing position control records, and compiling budget data for university reports.
