Sponsored by the �鶹ӰԺ State Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are the university’s most prestigious alumni honors. The 2024 Alumni Award recipients include seven alumni, two recent graduates, one staff member and one current student.

�鶹ӰԺ celebrated the grand opening of Crawford Hall on Sept. 27, attended by more than 700 guests, including university leadership, faculty, students, donors, alumni and dignitaries.

As a child in Puerto Rico, Natalia Román Alicea, ’17, grew up watching coming-of-age stories on American television.

�鶹ӰԺ is set to burst with Golden Flash pride as the annual Homecoming celebration returns Sept. 28. 

The scent of freshly brewed coffee fills the air while voices from the NFL Network play on the televisions in the background. Sports memorabilia and artwork cover every wall. This is State Champs Coffee, downtown �鶹ӰԺ’s new alumna-founded sports coffee shop and streetwear brand.

This year marks two significant anniversaries at �鶹ӰԺ - the 100th anniversary of Undergraduate Student Government and the 40th anniversary of �鶹ӰԺ Student Ambassadors. To celebrate this special occasion, we are honoring these organizations through the 2024 Homecoming Theme: A Legacy of Leadership.
