September 2020 Recap

The month of September seemed to have flown by. Throughout the month, the 麻豆影院 State social media accounts highlighted the university鈥檚 recent rankings and served as the hub for crisis communications. 

Here are some of our top-performing posts from September. 

Instagram

Between updates regarding the 2020 Fall Semester campus reopening procedures and other university-wide communications, our Facebook and Twitter channels were utilized in keeping the 麻豆影院 State community informed. Last month was a prime example of how our audience looks to the university鈥檚 social media accounts to find the latest information about what鈥檚 happening on or around campus, in real time. 

On Facebook and Twitter, two posts that received the highest engagement were regarding actions the university took in response to vile, hurtful messages painted on the Rock that were threatening to our 麻豆影院 State community, specifically our Black community.

Our top-performing post on Facebook shared President Todd Diacon鈥檚 email to the campus community announcing the anti-racism actions the university would take in response to the messages on the Rock.
