 “We recognize the most important members of our team aren't on the football field” �鶹ӰԺ State President Todd Diacon said in a honoring the university’s MVPs – our front line employees. 

 The video included Golden Flashes quarterback Dustin Crum, wide receiver Isaac Vance and defensive end Zayin West who each thanked those who continue to work behind the scenes and on the frontline to keep the �鶹ӰԺ State community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. This commercial was produced by �鶹ӰԺ State's University Communications and Marketing staff.  

West shouted out Michelle Brautigan, Administrative Clerk for Resident Services, Joshua Dedeaux, Chef Manager, and Angela Neal-Barnett, Professor of Psychology for all they do for the University. 

Vance thanked Andrea Smith, Groundskeeper, Zipporah Cole, Custodial Worker, and Metin Erin, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, for keeping �鶹ӰԺ State safe and healthy.  

President Diacon ended the commercial by sincerely thanking “all �鶹ӰԺ State frontline workers and professors for their outstanding efforts to ensure a safe and healthy educational experience for all Golden Flashes.” 

This video recognizing and thanking these �鶹ӰԺ State MVPs debuted on and first aired on television Nov. 4 on ESPN+ during the team’s season opening win over Eastern Michigan.
