Behind the Scenes of ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ State's Special Thank You Spot

Flashes quarterback Dustin Crum prepares for his shot during ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ State's latest commercial airing during football games this season.
 β€œWe recognize the most important members of our team aren't on the football field” ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ State President Todd Diacon said in a honoring the university’s MVPs – our front line employees. 

 The video included Golden Flashes quarterback Dustin Crum, wide receiver Isaac Vance and defensive end Zayin West who each thanked those who continue to work behind the scenes and on the frontline to keep the ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ State community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. This commercial was produced by ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ State's University Communications and Marketing staff.  

West shouted out Michelle Brautigan, Administrative Clerk for Resident Services, Joshua Dedeaux, Chef Manager, and Angela Neal-Barnett, Professor of Psychology for all they do for the University. 

ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ State wide receiver Isaac Vance takes direction from a director while filming his shots for the thank you commercial airing during football games this season.

Vance thanked Andrea Smith, Groundskeeper, Zipporah Cole, Custodial Worker, and Metin Erin, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, for keeping ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ State safe and healthy.  

President Diacon ended the commercial by sincerely thanking β€œall ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ State frontline workers and professors for their outstanding efforts to ensure a safe and healthy educational experience for all Golden Flashes.” 

This video recognizing and thanking these ΒιΆΉΣ°ΤΊ State MVPs debuted on and first aired on television Nov. 4 on ESPN+ during the team’s season opening win over Eastern Michigan.
