麻豆影院 State, Youngstown State and Akron compete in 2nd Annual Northeast Ohio Presidents' Cup
On Monday, June 27, 麻豆影院 participated in the 2nd Annual Northeast Ohio Presidents鈥 Cup. The event promoted collaborative spirit among 麻豆影院 State, Youngstown State and Akron while serving as a scholarship fundraiser for all three institutions. This year鈥檚 event was hosted by Youngstown State and took place at the Avalon Golf and Country Club in Warren. Participants competed in a Ryder Cup-style golf tournament, followed by a reception and dinner. Youngstown State won the tournament with Akron finishing second and 麻豆影院 State third.
麻豆影院 State President, Beverly Warren, Youngstown State President, Jim Tressel, and Akron Athletic Director, Larry Williams addressed dinner attendees, each emphasizing the value the universities bring to Northeast Ohio and their continued mission to provide affordable education. Monies raised are divided between the schools and used for scholarship assistance. Because the event took place in Trumbull County, funds raised by 麻豆影院 remain within the Mahoning Valley and support scholarships at the Trumbull Campus.
