Graduate Degrees

The School of Theatre and Dance at �鶹ӰԺ offers graduate level training programs in Acting for the Returning Professional or Design and Technology.

The School's annual production season serves as an on-site laboratory for graduate students to develop and refine their technique and skills. Additionally, , �鶹ӰԺ's summer professional theatre, provides graduate students with the opportunity to work and learn in a professional producing theatre on site at �鶹ӰԺ State.

The Acting for the Returning Professional and Design and Technology graduate programs allow students to pursue in-depth training in their specific concentration in preparation for a career in the performing arts. Students applying to the MFA program in Design and Technology may choose to concentrate their studies in the areas of Costume Design, Lighting Design, Scenic Design, or Theatre Technology.

Acting - M.F.A.

The Master of Fine Arts program in Acting is intended for the returning professional and provides candidates with substantial performance experience during a two-year intensive plan as preparation for diverse careers in the field, including teaching at the university level.

Theatre Design and Technology - M.F.A.

Are you ready to take center stage in the world of theatre design and technology? The terminal M.F.A. degree equips students with the artistry and skills to become practicing professionals. With a flexible curriculum and concentrations in costume design, lighting design, scene design and technical direction, this three-year program offers students the opportunity to explore their areas of interest and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of theatre production.
