The course of action depends upon where the assignment is in the FLAC process. Please review Making Changes To A FLAC Record. You can also wait until closer to the deadline if you think a course might get cancelled.
"No, you are not notified when the Instructor acknowledges their record; however, you are able to run a report in INB (PWPFNAK) that lists those records that have been locked but not acknowledged. Additionally, on the Employee Status Summary page the "Date Acknowledged" column is populated when the Instructor does so."
Non-instructional assignments must be processed via the Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAF).
When an Instructor leaves a comment the department is NOT notified. For that reason, faculty should be instructed to not acknowledge their assignment and to contact the department directly if there is a problem. The email notification the Instructor receives also specifies this course of action.
