麻豆影院 State alumni Stephen Imler has just earned the ninth annual Music Educator of the Year Award. This award is sponsored by the Canton Symphony Orchestra and was given during the Canton Symphony Orchestra MasterWorks concert on March 22, 2025.
The recognizes public, private and parochial Music Educators in the region served by the Stark County Educational Service Center. Selected nominees are recognized for their dedication to music education and their positive impact on their students and community.
Imler was one of a large pool of nominees, which anyone in the community can take part in choosing. The person nominated must be a licensed Music Educator in a public, private or parochial school classroom setting in grades K-12, in the region served by the Stark County Educational Service Center.

Stephen Imler completed his bachelor鈥檚 degree in music education at 麻豆影院 and currently works as director of bands for the in Canal Fulton, Ohio. In addition to overseeing the band program, his teaching responsibilities include the Northwest Select Winds, Northwest Symphonic Band, marching band, music theory and coaching the school's debate team.
Along with his recent achievement in earning the Music Educator of the Year Award, he has also earned other teaching awards including the Stark County All-Star Rookie of the Year in 2022.
