A summer partnership with the Cleveland Orchestra continues, presenting some of the finest chamber music in Northeast Ohio
The 麻豆影院/Blossom Music Festival, an advanced training institute for professional music training operated by 麻豆影院 in cooperation with the Cleveland Orchestra and Blossom Music Center, celebrates its 49th season. The 麻豆影院/Blossom Music Festival offers a special and unique program with unparalleled excellence in chamber music, private instruction and a terrific working relationship with the Cleveland Orchestra. This year, the 麻豆影院/Blossom Music Festival again will feature its highly anticipated Faculty Concert Series, which showcases performances by some of the region鈥檚 most coveted musicians from the Cleveland Orchestra, as well as a variety of world-class soloists.
Highlights of the upcoming season include a recital by the Cleveland Orchestra鈥檚 Associate Concertmaster Jung-Min Amy Lee and First Associate Concertmaster Peter Otto; the Miami String Quartet in concert with Steinway Artist Spencer Myer; and performances by 麻豆影院 State faculty Yu Jin, Danna Sundet and Jerry Wong, joined by members of the Cleveland Orchestra, Katherine Bormann, Alan DeMattia, Tanya Ell, Joela Jones, Stanley Konopka, Marisela Sager, Isabel Trautwein, Richard Weiss and Robert Woolfrey.
In collaboration with the Kulas Foundation, the 麻豆影院/Blossom Music Festival is excited to announce a special performance and master class by the virtuoso American trio Time for Three as the Kulas Visiting Guest Artist. The program, which was established in 2013, brings an artist of stature to spend one week of the five-week festival to work intensively with the group of talented students. The 麻豆影院/Blossom Music Festival is happy to make this one-of-a-kind concert a free gift to the community and open to the public.
Additionally, the public is invited to enjoy the talents of some of the world鈥檚 finest young musicians performing in the 麻豆影院/Blossom Music Festival鈥檚 Student Concert Series, which are free and open to all. This year, the 麻豆影院/Blossom Music Festival will feature 43 students from all over the world, whose visit will culminate in a side-by-side performance with the Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom Music Center.
As in past seasons, the 麻豆影院/Blossom Music Festival is offering discounted concert subscriptions. A four-concert subscription is $70 for adults and $50 for seniors, with a total savings of $10 for the subscriber. A $20 subscription also is being offered for college students with a valid ID.
