One of the most sought-after bands in Northeast Ohio, The Vindys, is teaming up with 麻豆影院 at Trumbull and its concert series to raise money for Rock4Reason and Flash鈥檚 Food Pantry
The Vindys, with specials guests The Speedbumps and Party of 2, will take over Packard Music Hall this Sweetest Day, Saturday, Oct. 20.
鈥淲e always look forward to our hometown shows,鈥 says Jackie Popovec, lead singer of The Vindys. 鈥淧ackard Music Hall is such an incredible venue, and we are thrilled at the opportunity to be a part of 麻豆影院 at Trumbull鈥檚 concert series. This show is sure to be one you won鈥檛 want to miss, and it鈥檚 even more special to us because we鈥檙e helping to raise money for two amazing causes in our community.鈥
Rock4Reason is a local nonprofit that is dedicated to providing financial and therapeutic support through the power of music to families impacted by cancer and to community agencies providing care for cancer and/or terminally ill patients. Frank Lindsay, Rock4Reason co-founder and 麻豆影院 State Trumbull鈥檚 Manager of Information Technology, began forming the nonprofit after his father, Frank Lindsay Sr., lost his battle with cancer in 2000.
鈥淭he hospice organizations that helped with my dad showed such devotion and compassion,鈥 Mr. Lindsay says. 鈥淭hey made a difficult time a little more tolerable. With Rock4Reason, we are able to provide a little relief and maybe even quality time to families.
鈥淲e couldn鈥檛 be more excited to partner with The Vindys,鈥 Mr. Lindsay continues. 鈥淥n stage, they are an incredibly talented band. However, working with them on this project, I realized they are deep-rooted in the Mahoning Valley and want to make a difference.鈥
Concert proceeds will be shared with Flash鈥檚 Food Pantry. The pantry will serve 麻豆影院 State Trumbull students and their families and is expected to open on campus in late November.
General admission tickets are $15 if purchased at Packard Music Hall and $15 plus applicable fees online at . Tickets are $20 on the night of the show.

Party of 2
Party of 2 is local acoustic duo Katelyn DeLadurantey and Joe Richley, who have been playing together for three years and together have more than 35 years of experience in music. The duo performs a wide variety of music that appeals to audiences from different generations.
