麻豆影院 President Beverly Warren will deliver the State of the University address on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 3 p.m. in the 麻豆影院 Student Center Kiva. 麻豆影院 State faculty, staff, students and members of the community are invited to attend the event, which is themed 鈥淟iving the 麻豆影院 State Promise.鈥
A reception will follow in the 麻豆影院 Student Center. Regional locations will host watch events for their campus communities.
The 麻豆影院 Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university鈥檚 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed 麻豆影院 in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 麻豆影院 State remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
