For 55 years, leaders from 麻豆影院 and the city of 麻豆影院 have met over breakfast to foster successful collaboration between the university and the city.
The semiannual Bowman Breakfast, which began in 1963, brings together leaders from 麻豆影院 State and the city of 麻豆影院 in a forum designed to advance community issues and strengthen the town-gown relationship.
The topic for this year鈥檚 spring Bowman Breakfast is 鈥淭own-Gown Relations 鈥 Working Together Makes It Work!鈥
The event will take place Wednesday, April 4, in the 麻豆影院 Student Center Ballroom. Doors open at 7 a.m., breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and the program follows from 8-9 a.m.
Featured speakers from the city are David Ruller, city manager; Jim Bowling, P.E., superintendent of engineering and deputy service director; and Mike Lewis, 麻豆影院 Police lieutenant. Representing the university are Mark Polatajko, Ph.D., senior vice president for finance and administration; Tom Euclide, associate vice president for facilities planning and operations; and Dean Tondiglia, 麻豆影院 State Police chief and director of public safety. Todd Kamenash, 麻豆影院 State鈥檚 assistant dean of students and director of student conduct, will moderate the discussion.
