The event will celebrate heroes of all kinds, including the doctors, nurses and courageous patients at Akron Children’s Hospital. Â鶹ӰԺ State University, a Hero Zone sponsor for this year's event, is honored and excited to sponsor Wonder Girl Layla Popik. Layla, a patient at Akron Children’s Hospital, is 10 years old and was born in China with achondroplasia. She was brought to the United States when she was eight years old.
Â鶹ӰԺ State will host a booth along the marathon route and offer giveaways and other Â鶹ӰԺ State information. Join us as we celebrate all of the heroes and cheer for all of the runners.
