Applications Sought for 麻豆影院 State of Wellness Seeds of Wellness Mini-grants

Do you have an idea for a collaborative initiative to promote health and wellness on campus? Are you planning a project or an initiative that supports 麻豆影院鈥檚 mission to become a model for a healthy campus?

麻豆影院 State of Wellness, a university-level initiative to promote health and wellness, is seeking applications for its 2018-2019 Seeds of Wellness mini-grant program, which awards up to $1,000 for initiatives that focus on any of the priority areas at all 麻豆影院 State campuses: Alcohol and Other Drug Use, Mental Health, Nutrition, Physical Activity, Preventive Care, Safety, Sexual Health, Smoking and Tobacco Use.

麻豆影院 State of Wellness encourages members of the 麻豆影院 State community (at all locations) to take an active role in creating a healthy environment. Faculty members could create a Seeds of Wellness class project for their students, and staff members could develop engaging and collaborative programs or initiatives to encourage health and well-being in the workplace.

鈥淲e received several innovative grant applications for the Seeds of Wellness program from across our campus system, and we鈥檙e excited about some of the diverse projects that members of our university community have submitted,鈥 says Jennifer Kulics, Ph.D., 麻豆影院 State鈥檚 associate vice president for the Division of Student Affairs, who oversees the 麻豆影院 State of Wellness. 鈥淚t鈥檚 inspiring to see how our faculty, staff and students are coming together to make health and wellness a priority on campus, and how we are able to support additional ideas and initiatives through the 麻豆影院 State of Wellness.鈥

Seeds of Wellness mini-grants are awarded on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.
