TeachCS has the support and guidance of administration, faculty, and staff from colleges, schools, and programs across Â鶹ӰԺ and its campuses.  However, listed below are key faculty and staff that are currently supporting this work.

  1. Richard E. Ferdig, Ph.D. (PI) – Dr. Ferdig is the Summit Professor of Learning Technologies at Â鶹ӰԺ’s Research Center for Educational Technology. His research interests include online education, educational games and simulations, the relationship between faith and technology, international education, and what he labels a deeper psychology of technology. Dr. Ferdig was successful in creating the most recent cohort-based master’s program in educational technology, enrolling over 20 teachers to receive their master’s degree in one year. 
  2. Javed Khan, Ph.D. (Co-PI) – Dr. Khan is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Â鶹ӰԺ. Dr. Khan's research team specializes in applying multi-are expertise to cross-cutting problems in large scale cyber/network infrastructure, perceptual engineering, and modeling of complex systems. Javed was the initial PI on the State of Ohio grant that supported the creation of the initial master’s degree and endorsement programs. 
  3. Enrico Gandolfi, Ph.D. (Co-PI) – Dr. Gandolfi is an associate professor of Educational Technology. His research interests include games and simulations for learning, extended reality (AR, VR, MR) in education, and online communities of inquiry. He has been CO-PI and senior personnel for grants funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Endowment for Humanities. 
  4. Angela Guercio, Ph.D. (Co-PI) – Dr. Guercio is an associate professor of computer science at the Â鶹ӰԺ Stark Campus. Her research interests include multimedia Computing, software engineering, web programming, e-learning and ubiquitous learning, programming and visual languages, and bioinformatics. Â鶹ӰԺ State is an eight-campus system. 
  5. Alicia R. Crowe, Ph.D. (Co-PI) – Dr. Crowe is the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education and Student Services and a Professor of Social Studies Education and Teacher Education. At Â鶹ӰԺ State, her work includes supporting licensure and endorsements. She is also a school board member for Â鶹ӰԺ City Schools. 
  6. Annette Kratcoski, Ph.D. (Key Personnel) – Dr. Kratcoski is the Director of the Research Center for Educational Technology (RCET). During her time at RCET, she has supervised and supported the professional development of over 280 teachers and 5800 students from 24 different school districts and 4 private schools.
  7. Maha Allouzi, Ph.D. (Key Personnel) – Dr. Allouzi is an associate professor of computer science. She also serves as a key advisor for the CS program. 
  8. Mandy Cenker, Ph.D. (Key Personnel) – Dr. Cenker is the Outreach Program Director for the College of Education, Health and Human Services’ Office of Professional Development and Outreach. She is also co-director of the KEEP partnership. Dr. Cenker is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of cohort-based programs on campus as well as professional learning opporutnities for educators.
