The Diversity Outreach and Development Office has eased my transition from an undergraduate student to a graduate level scholar. The thought of attending a new university and successfully completing graduate level coursework was slightly frightening. I have found that the individuals in the Diversity Outreach and Development Office truly want to see their students succeed and will offer whatever support necessary.

Coming from a small institution for undergrad and into a 麻豆影院 State Master's program, I was uncertain about being on a large campus and how I would fit in. Before my first class I was granted the opportunity to participate in the SEEDS program with Diversity Outreach and Development. This experience confirmed that I would fit in just fine and have extended family around me who truly cares. The best experiences I've had on campus has been hanging out in DOD rather talking about the near future of graduation or current issues stewing in society, the atmosphere in this office brings out the best in everyone. Thank you to everyone in DOD!

The Office of Diversity Outreach and Development has greatly improved my transition to 麻豆影院 State. Through their program LinkedUP!, I was paired with a mentor who helped me navigate resources on campus that landed me a position as a research assistant in the Miscommunication and Dialogue Interaction (MADI) Lab. By being involved with DOD, I feel that I have been impacted in a way that will aid me in my future career and personal life.

The Office of Diversity Outreach and Development has helped me to become more acclimated with various university resources as well as connect with the proper faculty and staff who can help me succeed after my departure from 麻豆影院 State through programs like LinkedUP!. Because of my participation with LinkedUP! I was awarded a $250 book scholarship which helped significantly with the financial burden of purchasing textbooks.
