Biography
My research interests are in sedimentology and geomorphology, especially modern & ancient fluvial and lacustrine continental deposits, and taphonomy of vertebrate fossils within them. I have particular interests in
- Eocene lake deposits in Utah
- Development of the landscape and biota of Madagascar and human influence on the same
- Interpretation of mid-late Paleozoic strata in NE Ohio
- Computer programming to improve visualization and analysis of complex data sets (e.g., data regarding orientations, Munsell soil colors, and grain-size distributions).
