TLCS Professor Presents at International Early Childhood Conference

The Gender Diversity Project documents the advocacy effort of parents and teachers of young, gender-diverse children via survey and in-depth interviews. Kroeger is a recipient of the Universities Research and Creativity Award of (AY 24/25) and EHHS's SEED grant (AY 19/20), as well as Akron Community Foundation's Gay Community Endowment Fund for this and related projects. 

Chris Konieczko

Dana Oleskiewicz, a doctoral student studying health disparities in the Cultural Foundations program, was the recipient of the Graduate Student Senate International Travel Award. Oleskiewicz  and Chris Konieczko, an Ed.S. graduate student studying Rehabilitation Counseling, each presented a paper based on the studies' findings.  Oleskiewicz and Konieczko have co-authored numerous publications with Gunn and Kroeger this year. 

EECERA is an independent, self-governing, international association that promotes and disseminates multi-disciplinary research on early childhood and its applications to policy and practice.
