Food Allergies
University Culinary Services supports students with various dietary needs by providing information necessary for the student to make informed food choices in our dining locations. We work together with campus partners with a goal of providing a safe and supportive transition to college life while helping students take an active role in managing their own food allergies, specific diets, or medical needs. Â鶹ӰԺ State will work with students to identify options to meet dietary accommodations for gluten-friendly, vegetarian/vegan, and allergen-specific needs.

Healthy Options
University Culinary Services realizes the importance of healthy options and good nutrition. Our registered dietitian made it easy to find meals that are lower in fat, sodium, and cholesterol — plus, they pack a punch with essential vitamins, minerals, protein, or fiber. Look for this symbol and fuel up with confidence!
Meet with Our Dietitian
If you are a student with specific dietary needs, you may benefit from meeting with our Registered Dietitian to learn more about what is currently available in our dining facilities. To schedule a meeting, please complete to tell us about yourself. The Registered Dietitian will contact you to discuss your needs.
If, after meeting with the dietitian, you do not feel that the dining plans will meet your needs due to food allergies or medically-related dietary restrictions, you can connect with Student Accessibility Services (SAS) to request accommodations. Students should complete this process prior to the start of their first semester if possible to allow enough time for accommodations to be established.
Students seeking dietary accommodations for reasons that are not disability-related (including religious or personal reasons) may also contact the Registered Dietitian to discuss their options.
If you have questions or need assistance managing your food allergy on campus, please contact the Registered Dietitian to discuss options.
