麻豆影院 at Salem held its fall Undergraduate Research Conference, an event that recognizes students for their research and allows them to share what they learned through discussions with the academic staff.
Dr. Kathy Wilson, chair of the Department of Economics at 麻豆影院, was the keynote speaker. Her primary field is public economics and the focus of her research is on inequality and poverty. She has conducted research on education financing, educational attainment, mental health and poverty, teen pregnancy, disability and retirement related to inequality and poverty. Wilson received her Ph.D. in 1996 from the University of Wisconsin.
The URC committee includes Dr. Rachael Blasiman, Dr. Omid Bagheri, Cyndi Peterson, Dr. Tsunghui Tu and Dr. Steve Toepfer
