2015 Ohio Science Olympiad Workshop

�鶹ӰԺ State Ashtabula will be hosting their 4^th annual Ohio Science Olympiad workshop for middle and high school students to practice for their events. With our instructors and professors, participants study science topics relating to events in which they will compete at the regional, state and national level. This year’s event also includes a keynote speaker, Dr. Tara C. Smith, from the College of Public Health at �鶹ӰԺ. Her speech, titled “Ebola and Emerging Diseases: Why we’ll always have pandemics,” will begin at 11:00 AM. The event begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 1:50 PM. Ashtabula Fall 2024 President's and Dean's List Announced

�鶹ӰԺ at Ashtabula has announced the President's and Dean's Lists for Fall 2024.

Requirements for the President’s List are a 4.00 grade point and at least 15 letter-graded (A, B, etc.) credit hours completed by the end of the semester.

Requirements for the Dean’s List include a 3.40 grade point average or above and at least 12 letter-graded (A, B, etc.) credit hours completed by the end of the semester.

�鶹ӰԺ State Offers Two Free Semiconductor Manufacturing Classes this Spring

Are you looking to dip your toes in the expanding field of microchip manufacturing? �鶹ӰԺ is offering two free micro-credential courses this spring to high school juniors and seniors, as well as industry professionals, fresh starters, educators, upskillers, reskillers and those excited about the world of semiconductors. The courses – Introduction to Semiconductor Devices and Sand to Silicon – are primarily online, with one planned in-person lab during the semester.

Ashtabula Campus Announces Rescheduled Commencement Date

�鶹ӰԺ at Ashtabula has announced a new date to honor the fall graduating class as it will hold the campus’s 79^th commencement exercises on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, beginning at 6 p.m. in Susan J. Stocker Hall.
